The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Twin is the cafe racer twin to the Royal Enfield   Interceptor 650 , with better performance. As always, the accessories list will be an impressive one. But  the Continental GT 650 has the biggest chance of giving  the only catch is that it needs to deliver on the value front. Royal Enfield motorcycle has a world of opportunity available to them in the middleweight segment.

The Continental GT 650 Twin uses the same 648 cc parallel-twin motor as the Interceptor. The bike gets a dual-cradle, tubular steel frame which was made by Harris Performance. The bike gets 41 mm telescopic suspension up front which has 110 mm of travel which is good for comfort while driving in bad roads . At the rear, there are twin coil-over shock absorbers with 88 mm of travel which is good for comfort while driving in bad roads. The bike kerb  weighs 198 kg. Up front is a 320 mm disc while the rear tyre gets a 240 mm disc. Royal Enfield has always priced its new 650 cc segments motorcycles aggressively. because the company now moving to a brand new segment of motorcycles, expect prices of this motorcycle aggressive. Our guess would be around Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 4.0  lakh.Another important statement given by Lal is that both motorcycles will be launched in India as well as international markets simultaneously. The company had earlier planned to launch the motorcycles abroad first, and later in India. At launch, the 650 twin will only be available in limited numbers. The company will ramp up production only four months after the launch. Intially, the global launch was planned for mid-2018, but will now take place towards the end of the year.
